Friday night, April 1, Asheville's own Enoch ("Groove locked riff prayers to the great and infinite every-nothing.") teams up with Buffalo, NY's original iconoclasts The F*ing Hotlights ("loud, dirty, and urgent") to rock the Phil Mechanic Studios.  Asheville's Free Lunch opens.  Doors at 9 for a 9:30 start.  Bring your friends.  More info at www.erevival.org/april1

About the Bands:

For a band being consistently described as "viscously raw" and "loud, dirty, and urgent;" Buffalo New York's The Fucking Hotlights play surprisingly well-crafted rock tunes with impressive virtuosity.  Between all the high-flying mayhem resides tight and thunderous instrumentals and deeply powerful vocal performances.  Drawing comparisons to the likes of The Stooges, Black Flag, and The Jesus Lizard, the Hotlights deliver heavy-hitting rock deeply rooted in the traditions of experimental music across many genres.  After successful tours around the North-East and Mid-West, Buffalo's most intense foursome are finally escaping the soul-destroying freeze of the Great Lakes to cause some damage South of the Mason-Dixon Line.  More information at www.thefuckinghotlights.com.

ENOCH was formed in Asheville, North Carolina, USA in the spring of 2008. Comprised of current or former members of Descolada, Serpents, Trapper Keeper, Birds On The Ground, The Judas Horse, Subproject 54, and Reach For The Stars. A few line up changes solidified into the current trio of (from left to right): Neal Wilson (bass), Charles Howes (drums), and Dave Lynch (guitar, vocals). Fans of early 70's rock, doom and drones of varying degrees of distortion and pitch, delay drenched guitar solos, their goal is to write songs that can be both tight and heavy and also descend into more improvised psychedelic rock territory.  Check them out at http://www.raig.ru/enoch.asp and http://www.myspace.com/enochnc
