Flood Mission
Flood Fine Art Center is a non-profit contemporary art institution dedicated to advancing the careers of emerging and mid career artists, as well as educating the public and furthering the understanding of contemporary art and its importance within the community and beyond. We aim to provide a stimulating environment for artists so that they will successively enlighten, challenge, inspire, and elevate awareness for the necessity of art in contemporary culture.
Flood Fine Art Center seeks to be a vital cultural resource for Asheville through providing funding and space for innovative local and national artists as well as curators who stretch boundaries in all media. Through our extensive exhibition schedule, residency program, educational activities, presentations and publications we aim to serve a diverse audience that will in turn enhance quality of life and provide opportunities and experiences that would otherwise be unavailable.
Membership Information
The Flood Gallery Fine Art Center is a non-profit arts organization under tax code 501 c3. Any individual or corporation that wishes to become a supporting member of the Flood Gallery can do so by filling out our membership application form and by paying annual membership dues.
Membership Benefits
The benefits of becoming a member of the Flood Gallery are first and foremost, the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to support the development of art and art education in Western North Carolina. Through extensive exhibitions featuring artists from all over the world that would not normally have reason to come to Asheville, we are striving to put Asheville on the art-world map, and through exhibitions at the Pump gallery, we are promoting and supporting local artists trying to emerge into that world.
All our members also will recieve discounts to special events at the Flood Gallery, such as the SONIC EXPERIENCE SERIES which showcases the areas most talented musicians in genres as diverse as Classical to Jazz to Experimental. Flood Gallery also hosts special interest films and art "happenings" that are sure to excite and inspire.
Gold members will recieve a complimentary subscription to FLOOD NOTES a journal examining trends in the art world, and featuring poetry and fiction as well as full color photos of art from Flood and from around the country.

To Become a member, simply mail a check or money order to the address below with your name, address and email (if you wish to be on our mailing list for special events) and we will keep your name in our member book. Or, better still, come to one of our events and become a member here.
